| hi to all who may still read this thing! its been definately hectic since hte last time i posted an update. we went the day before thanksgiving to find out who exactly we were having, and to have a normal check up. we are very excited to announce that we're having a boy, jon micah (to be called micah.) he's doing well, however i'd been sick all week before the check up, and was dehydraited. so i was admitted, and pumped full of fluids. all well and good, except that the dehydraition triggered contractions. so the friday after thanksgiving, i go back to the hospital for a few days, to get the contractions stopped. we figured out which drug cocktail works for me (blood pressure meds, oddly enough) and here i am. i'm on a first name basis with most of the l&d dept of the hospital now, and am making a list of who i want caring for me when micah gets here (not that it'll make a difference, i suppose, but i can try.) other than that, i'm on partial bedrest (not confined to the bed, but not running marathons, either.) and am looking forward to the holidays. i hope and pray that all of you are doing well! love to all!

| i'm a complete and total slacker.
but i have good news! (and no it doesnt involve a lizard and some insurance...)
just call me "myrtle" friends. yup, we're pregnant again, due in april! so i'm only 5 weeks in, but i'm already showing a little. i unpacked my prego-wear today in preparation, cause my abs are expanding (face it, they didnt have much recoup time). we're incredibly excited!
and in other news...my graphics job's gone phbbbt. but i'm not disappointed, i'm doing graphics for church, which is cool. and other than that, i'm being a housewife....erm...domestic engineer...yeah, thats it. its rather nice though, cause it means that i'm not exhausted as bad as i was last pregnancy.
oh, and before i go: if the baby's a boy, he's jon micah (called micah). if its a girl, i like daegan elizabeth. heath still likes elisheba, although we dont have a middle name to go with it. any suggestions?

| yes folks, i am alive. barely. worlwind hurricane hectic insanity doesnt even cover the time since we've moved/started the new job. my last week in LR i was sick, and so didnt get to pack like i wanted. so fam came in, we threw stuff in boxes, stuffed the truck, and made it to bama at like 2am. the fam unloaded the truck while i went to an urgent care thingy because i was still sick. (three weeks later, i'm still sickish, so we see how well that went.) then heath and i loaded up and went and did server roll outs in knoxville (buh) and last week we did south tenn. this coming week we do chattanooga. it wouldnt be too stressful except that heath's car has decided that this is a fine time to exhibit a cooling problem. but hopefully we'll get that taken care of tomorrow morning. its nice to be home though. oh my, so nice. i can drive a half hour and see my mom. we're within a half hour's drive of all but two of our neices and nephews. i have friends who are all moving back home too (there's an odd re-convergance happening, those of us who grew up together, we're all moving home at the same time.) no, the house isnt arranged, but honestly, when have we been home to do it. its slow going, but home. as far as what i've done graphics-wise for the new comp, its fun, too. they're learning my style, and i'm having to learn what theirs is, but that was to be expected. we're all learning what each other's sick and twisted humors are. but we do miss our friends from LR, and "my girls" and all. how is everyone? school should almost be out, shouldnt it? summer plans? keep me in the loop, people!
ok, so i suppose i've rambled enough. i'm going to go take more cough syrup and go take a nap. take care and be well all!

| so, if you read my hubby's blog, you know we're moving home. yup, we're getting to go back where we came from! though i'll miss the folks that we're friends with here, we're so excited to be going home. we're both going for jobs that are in our fields, to say nothing of being closer to friends, family, and where our baby is buried. God's given us jobs, a house that is waiting on us, and a church already. its incredible. we are blessed. but we move in two weeks, which means that we pack like mad until then. and in anticipation of moving home, i've made a top ten list of what i shall do upon my return:
10. unpack the truck
9. eat at krystals
8. order sweet tea at any restaurant
7. say "roll tide" and not get smacked in the head
6. go to wings
5. get my concealed carry permit
4. see stars in the sky without light pollution
3. go fishing
2. change my driver's lisence
1. praise God while singing "sweet home alabama" | | |

and holy crap, we're talking fast.
its getting really interesting, really quick.
*note to those of you who dont have a clue as to what i'm talking about, i'll be able to post fully on this later, once we know more details.
